Working & professional actors
For actors who are working, and want to work better
Whether you're stuck in a rut, preparing for an important casting, or getting ready for a role or a new agent.

Stuck in a rut?
Maybe you've been working for some time but aren't getting the break you deserve. Maybe your nerves are getting in the way of your best work. If you have an important casting coming up, want help getting past your blocks or taking the next step, or just want honest feedback in a safe space, a session can help.
Ashlie combines her experience as an acting coach with gentle enquiry and skills training. Together you'll look closely at what's getting in the way, and clear out what isn't helping.
A professional ready to go deeper?
If you want to keep developing so you're on top of your game and ready to work, coaching can help you deepen your technique, find new tools and work on any weak spots.
- preparing for a specific role or production
- preparing for a casting, or for meeting a new agent
- on-set coaching
- performance anxiety and confidence under pressure
When nerves are the problem
Ashlie knows from experience how fear can show up on set and in the casting room. She also has the psychological tools to help you work with it.
Being courageous isn't about eliminating fear. It's about learning to work with it. Sessions can combine acting technique with cognitive behavioural and hypnotherapy-based approaches to managing performance anxiety.
Read: Fear, stage fright and embodied connection“In the short time we have worked together, I feel like a new actress, less afraid of being perfect, staying in “the moment” with Ashlie’s gentle guidance. She has a way of saying the right thing when needed and staying out of the way when needed.”
Not only will she guide you in a way that will unlock the doors with which to approach the craft of acting in a truthful manner; she will show you a way to make that craft your own.
Ashlie holds a space for her students to really learn about themselves (and their craft)… She does this with the lightest of touch, guiding each individual forward with care, kindness and generosity.
But this sensitivity to nurture is not to suggest she is not precise and rigorous, or that she won’t push you to your limit if she sees that some tough love is what you need.
Ashlie’s intuitive nature, warmth and forthright guidance helped me develop as an actor, and the lessons I learnt under her tutelage remain with me in my daily work.
Let's work on what's getting in the way of your best work.
