Drama school audition preparation
Auditions ask a lot. You need to show who you are, make speeches feel alive, and stay open while you're being watched. Coaching sessions can help you:
- choose monologues that suit you and show your range
- understand the text and make clear, truthful choices
- stop "performing" the speech and start really talking to someone
- stay responsive if a panel redirects you
- manage nerves so they don't take over in the room
Getting started in the industry
If you're starting your career and want help understanding the industry and breaking into it, Ashlie can help you build a strategy from where you are to where you want to be. Then you can take purposeful action towards your goals.
You'll also work on mindset and confidence, so you feel prepared to enter a competitive world without losing sight of why you wanted to act in the first place.
“I’ve never acted before, so for me this was not only an acting class, but also a deeper journey into myself. The reflection of your partner together with Ashlie’s help is very powerful and eye-opening.”
“Ashlie’s teaching ignited my passion for the craft of acting. She approaches teaching with an inspiring level of dedication, patience and compassion which she then, inevitably, instils in her students.”
